Thanks for another success Dump and Run!

2011's Dump and Run, held at the beginning of Autumn quarter, was a success! This is all thanks to our volunteers and everyone who stopped by to support the cause! 6 tons of waste were diverted from the landfill and overall we raised $3200, which as a group we decided to donate to EarthShare Ohio and MidOhio Food Bank. We look forward to 2012's Dump & Run!

6th Annual Scarlet, Gray and Green Fair was a success!

Thanks to our sponsors, contributors, and volunteers at this year's Scarlet Gray and Green fair for helping make it a success! A big thank you to all who attended the event. Despite the wind, you helped make the fair the biggest one yet for Students for Recycling. We gave away a lot of prizes and had a great time. For more information on the wonderful gold and silver sponsors, please visit the SGG website

Zero Waste Ohio Stadium

This football season zero waste will be implemented in the stadium. Volunteers are needed to attended any or all home games to take notes on how the fans are utilizing the new compost and recycling bins. Zero waste means that 90% of the wast stream created during each game will be diverted from the landfill through the use of recycling. Volunteers are critical for improving the system and moving the stadium towards Zero Waste and reducing its environmental impact. Email Corey Hawkey for more information. To sign up, use your google mail address to gain access to the google doc that allows for sign up. Zero Waste Ohio Stadium Volunteer Sign Up
